When we look at the cost of any
electrical usage bill, first and foremost, efficient products and equally conscientious use of
those products adds up to savings. In many professional situations, a light or any
other electrical power consuming device cannot just be turned off, so we need to make the
product last. In many applications, Westron is a leader in longevity, lifespan and
quality of light sources.
The introduction of the compact
florescent changed many consumers way of thinking about lighting but, over the last few
years, the compact florescent market has been flooded with sub-par quality products.
Not only are consumers sometimes irritated by the harsh light, but, the cost
effectiviness of these lights in many instances is becoming suspect. By this, we
mean that if any consumer buys a light to save money, but has paid three to four times the
cost of the old product he or she is replacing, it had better last three to four times
longer, and/or save a large ammount of energy costs along the way. Consumer reports
are now showing various types of these products burn-out more rapidly than common
promotion states. Choosing the right lamp wisely is paramount. Disposal of
these lights is equally as hard or harder than recycling the old incandescent lamp.
We view the efforts of compact light developers as beneficial in some instances, and we
know that industrial, professional and commercial users need trade specific lighting with
which the home consumer products cannot be compared to in power, consistancy and

Current research has proved to
be exciting currently for Westron Corp. and Canadian partner Westron of Canada.
We are researching the
development of new lighting solutions in the medical research, ultra-violet (UV) A, B, and
C spectrum, investigative lighting and event and venue lighting fields. Partnering
with professionals in the the pharaceutical and medical lab fields, we are finding cost
effective ways to help researchers and preventative medical professions use engineered
light to improve health and complete research under the restraints of tight budgets and
limited equipment due to high costs. In UV lighting we manufacture and produce to
strick guidelines for each use. From reptile lighting/heating to curing lamps to
bacteria 'killers', we cover the A to Z of possible lamp ranges.
We are hoping that our research
along with our partners will soon help us be a part of the "world-team" effort
to improve all parts of our quality of life.
