...so the guys are waiting for the glue and adhesives to dry at the shop, literally...  A little tale of how Westron's UV curing solutions can save you time and money, and possibly a contract (and your neck).

Recently we were approached by a trade show display company who's client was expecting a full display in less than 12 hours.  Problem: Every door, case and frame was designed with glass panes which needed to be joined to steel hinges and frames.  ...Sure you can drill through glass... not if its tempered, you can't!  These oversights do happen, oops.

We received the 'emergency' call and committed to meet the assembly crew on the road as they were off to the trade venue, chewing their nails in fear that the job would be a disaster.  In tow, we delivered a 70 watt metal halide curing kit and off they set to set the glass doors against metal hinges with a commonly available transparent UV curable gel.  Not as single nut or bolt or pin to be seen...  Then we waited to find out if all had 'solidified'.

Sure enough, we received a call the next afternoon, with the good news that using our UV curing process, the assembly, usually requiring 12 hours of clamp time  to be somewhat durable was completely hardened in 10 seconds per bond point.  Yes, 80 linear feet of glass cabinets did take all night to install, but the guys where definitely not waiting around the shop for the glue to dry!  UV curing to the rescue!
